Technology and the Cultural Heritage Object: An Introduction to Local Projects
This series of presentations will highlight technology-forward projects in our area which improve knowledge of and access to cultural heritage objects. Speakers from the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Thomas J. Watson Library, the Frick Art Reference Library, and the Avery Architectural & Fine Arts Library will participate. Meghan Constantinou, Librarian of The Grolier Club, and Student/Professional Development Liaison for ARLIS/NY, will moderate. The program will conclude with a wine reception held in the Watson Library, and attendees may also enjoy visiting the museum’s galleries, which remain open until 9:00pm on Friday evenings. Students and recent graduates are especially encouraged to attend.
