Thank you for your interest in supporting the New York chapter of the Art Libraries Society of North America. Your sponsorship creates opportunities for our membership to engage and participate in a variety of professional development activities in the New York metropolitan area. We are the largest chapter of the Art Libraries Society of North America (ARLIS/NA), and our membership includes library directors, librarians, visual resource professionals, support staff, students, and retirees.
Celine Palatsky Travel Award: This award helps defray the cost each year for at least one ARLIS/NA New York member who does not have institutional or full institutional support to attend the Art Libraries Society of North America (ARLIS/NA) annual conference.
General Fund: Your donation to our General Fund helps us continue to develop programs and special events for the ARLIS/NA New York community.
To raise money for the chapter, we are selling a stylish tote bag for art librarians designed by chapter member Jennifer Tobias! The design is based on Alfred Barr's iconic flow chart of the modern art movement devised in 1936 for the dust jacket of MoMA's ground-breaking Cubism and Abstract Art catalog. Updated with terms to reflect the history and future of art librarianship, this tote bag is sure to impress! Proceeds from tote bag sales will help fund out Celine Palatsky Travel Award
