Join the New York Chapter of ARLIS/NA for a visit to Brooklyn Public Library’s Arts & Culture branch! Managing Librarian, Adwoa Adusei will provide a tour and present a selection of highlights from the collection.
BPL’s Library for Arts & Culture is an art-centric library, boutique reading room and event space in the heart of Brooklyn’s downtown cultural district. The new neighborhood branch is located on the second floor of the L10 Arts and Cultural Center, an innovative public art center that houses three other Brooklyn-based institutions in addition to the Library: Brooklyn Academy of Music (BAM), the Museum of Contemporary African Diasporan Arts (MoCADA), and 651 ARTS.
After the event, members are welcome to attend the exhibition, Standing Slightly Outside: Franklin Furnace, 1976—2026 at the Brooklyn Academy of Music across the street.
This visit will be capped at 15 attendees and registration is limited to members of ARLIS/NA's New York Chapter.
If you have any questions about the visit, feel free to reach out to Bridget O’Keefe, Programming Coordinator at bridget_okeefe@moma.org.
